What does digital video mean?
Digital is a reference to the type of processing and recording a camera uses. Think of it like this; a reel to reel recorder uses analog technology and a CD player uses digital technology. Yes, you can hear music from a reel to reel recorder but doesn't the music from a CD player sound much better and cleaner? Digital cameras give the best image quality, and crystal clear audio.
What is a DVD?
DVD ( Digital Video Disc ) is essentially a CD that can hold audio and video. Unlike a video tape it has an infinite shelf life. DVD also has twice the resolution as a video tape and CD quality audio. By having your Bar/Bat Mitzvah transferred to a DVD you will preserve the video in the same resolution that it was originally recorded in. The future of television is digital.

Why should I hire a professional videographer?
When it comes to video, many family members may like to lend a hand. Anyone with a video camera can record a Bar Mitzvah or event, but a professional videographer will create a work of art for you. Don't be fooled by some that call them self professional. Don't take this once in a lifetime event with a person supplementing their income doing video on the side. A professional has better equipment, and can edit your video into a finished product that will amaze you and your family for years. It will be a video you will love to show your family and friends often. The most important aspect of hiring a professional is experience. Steve has been shooting video and film for over twenty five years.

..........What do three chips mean?
In most consumer camcorders all the colors that come through the lens are processed by one chip. In a three chip professional camera individual chips process the three primary colors (red, green and blue) separately. This allows the best in picture color and clarity. We use only high end Sony cameras such as the DSR-400. Our lens alone are more expensive then some of our competitors complete cameras.

What about the sound Quality?
One of the main concerns of a video is sound quality. Will you be able to hear the ceremony clearly? Will there be any interference? UHF (Ultra High Frequency) microphones are the highest quality in wireless technology. These are the same microphones used by television studios. This will ensure that your video will have crystal clear audio.
